Technical Specifications

Traditional Finnish Sauna with WiFi-Enabled Heating

The Vassa pairs a traditional sauna enclosure with the convenience of an included 8kW Harvia Spirit WiFi heater.

The heater is intended to provide the high-temperature environment associated with conventional Finnish sauna bathing, rather than the lower-temperature operation of an infrared sauna.

WiFi-enabled controls add flexibility to the heating experience, subject to the compatible controller, network setup, and operating requirements specified by Harvia.

The combination of natural spruce construction and contemporary heater technology makes the Vassa appealing to customers who value traditional sauna design without sacrificing modern convenience.

Northern European Spruce Construction

The Vassa is crafted from traditional Northern European spruce, giving the sauna its natural wood appearance and cohesive interior finish.

The manufacturer describes a chemical-free treatment process intended to improve the wood's dimensional stability and reduce shrinking.

The barrel structure incorporates body staves, wall panels, metal bands, and supporting cradles.

Its natural wood construction makes the Vassa particularly suitable for outdoor spaces where timber, stone, landscaping, and contemporary architecture are part of the overall design.

As with any outdoor wood structure, proper installation and ongoing maintenance are important to preserving its appearance and performance.

Spacious Six-Person Interior

With an exterior length of 94.49 inches and an interior length of 86.61 inches, the Vassa offers generous space for shared sauna sessions.

The two-tier bench arrangement provides seating across different heights within the enclosure.

Six-Person Capacity

Designed for up to six occupants.

Two-Tier Seating

Allows users to choose between the available seating levels.

Extended Interior Length

The Vassa provides 86.61 inches of interior length.

Shared Wellness Experience

Its capacity makes it suitable for households that want a sauna designed for more than one or two users.

Actual seating comfort depends on individual body size and preferred spacing.

Classic Barrel Design

The Vassa's rounded barrel silhouette creates an architectural focal point for a backyard wellness space.

Its curved enclosure gives the sauna a traditional appearance while making efficient use of the available interior volume.

The natural spruce exterior can complement contemporary outdoor landscaping as well as more traditional settings.

Unlike the Finnish Sauna Builders Turku model, the Vassa does not include an exterior terrace. Its configuration prioritizes the interior sauna chamber.

Pre-Cut DIY Assembly

The Vassa is supplied as a pre-cut sauna kit designed for on-site assembly.

The manufacturer states that cutting is not required during the standard assembly process.

The package includes the primary wood components, structural supports, fasteners, metal bands, and an assembly guide.

Although the kit is designed for DIY construction, buyers should plan for the equipment, assistance, and site preparation appropriate to a structure of this size.

Electrical installation must be completed in accordance with the heater manufacturer's requirements and applicable local codes.
